Tony Frew was truly a gentleman and a scholar. He was a fine and caring physician/scientist in allergy, clinical immunology and respiratory medicine. Additionally, he was so proud of his lovely family and always spoke so warmly and highly of Helen and their children. I have many fond memories of happy, exciting times as friends and fellow clinician scientists in Barry Kay's Lab at the National Heart and Lung Institute/Brompton Hospital in the mid to late 80's and, subsequently, as we and our lab colleagues grew into professorships.
